Each lesson is a high-energy, non-stop session consisting of the following activities which promote various skills: 

Nursery for 3 – 4 Years:

  • Movement: imagination through music and creative drama
  • Story time: bringing characters and stories to life through role-play

  • Theatre Games: social skills

Lower Primary for 5 – 8 Years:

• • Introductory Activities: ad-lib skills and multiple sentence flow ability
  • Speech & Voice Training: articulation, projection, lip and tongue exercises, forward-placing and poems
  • Movement skills or Dance Drama: mimes and gestures
  • Whole Class Improvisation: acting out drama stories
  • Scene starters: creativity, spoken and presentation abilities
  • Snippets: scene planning and teamwork

Tweens for 9 – 12 Years:

• • Introductory Activities: responses to scenarios, ad-lib skills and multiple sentence flow ability
  • Speech & Voice Training: articulation, projection, lip & tongue exercises, forward-placing, tone & pitch, poems
  • Movement skills or Dance Drama: mimes, gestures, body language
  • Small Group Improvisation: creative drama stories in small groups, teamwork
  • Whole Class Improvisation: drama stories based on life scenarios
  • Mini-scripts & Snippets: scripted short stories, scene planning, teamwork
  • Structured Scene: presentation of situational scenario
  • Telephone Interviews: telephone skills

Youth Theatre Programme for 13-17 years:

• • Introductory Activities: ad-lib skills and thinking on one’s feet
  • Speech: voice projection, articulation, focus on consonants, tone & pitch
  • Small-Group Improvisations: group-work, scenario development, and planning
  • Radio Plays: radio commercials and radio programs for creativity and voice projection
  • Career and Theatre Games: thinking on one’s feet, response and actions
  • Mini-Scripts: scripted dialogues, scene planning
  • Open-ended Duologues: dialogue-development leaving the audience in suspense
  • Vox Pops: media interviews
